Phosphorus

Phosphorus is necessary for the growth of the plant and the activity of the cells. It encourages root development and increases the ratio of grain to straw, as well as total yield. It stimulates the formation of fats, convertible starch, and healthy seeds and increases the resistance to disease. Excess phosphorus is not harmful to plants.
