Potassium

The average potassium content of the earth surface is estimated at 2.3%. Potassium plays a vital role in the physiological and biochemical function of the plant. The exact function is not clearly understood, but many beneficial factors are demonstrated – enhance disease resistant by strengthening stalks and stems, activates various enzymes, thicken cuticle, enhance fruit size, flavor, texture and development, and is involved in the production of amino acid, chlorophyll, and starch, and aid in the transportation of sugar.
