Due to the tremendous growth in soccer in the four counties
that the Headwaters Soccer Club represents, the club
offers boys and girls a unique opportunity to develop
as soccer players. With the outstanding support of
local businesses, service organizations and foundations
mentioned in this brochure, the club offers each camp
session at a pre-registration rate of $60.00 per week
with your own ball or for $75.00 we will give the
camper an Adidas hand-stitched ball to keep. An additional
$10.00 will be charged for on-site registration. Where
else can you go to a week-long camp for $60.00 and
learn to develop your soccer skills from a quality
staff? We believe nowhere else!
The Soccer Camp Series offers seven sessions at different
locations for your convenience - three at Mine Kill State
Park, and one each at Edmeston Central School, Worcester
Central School, Otego Elementary School and at Oneonta State.
A team of outstanding coaches provided by the Headwaters Soccer
Club, experienced at all levels of soccer, will provide instruction
in every facet of play during the week: dribbling, heading,
receiving, finishing and passing, as well as group and team
tactics. Small groups assure that each student will receive
individual attention throughout the week.
Students will spend five hours per day on the field which
includes games in the afternoons. Depending on which session,
pool facilities or soccer videos will be available during
breaks or relax with other students and talk to the coaches.
