JULY 16 - 20 AT MINE KILL STATE PARK
Hunter Mountain is proud to renew our commitment to youth sports
programs through sponsorship of the Headwaters Soccer Camp,
a tradition that now dates back twenty-two consecutive years.
Much has
changed at Hunter Mountain since we started supporting the
Headwaters Camp. New lifts and runs have made skiing better
for all, and there’s been a revolution in the ease of entry for the first time beginners.
The new “shaped” skis turn easier, boots are more
comfortable and with new techniques in coaching,
a beginner can make good turns in just a day. And snowboarding,
which was just in its infancy ten years ago, offers youth a
distinctly different way of enjoying Hunter Mountain.
What hasn’t changed is the feeling of freedom - there’s
nothing like feeling the wind in your face while gliding down
one of our 53 slopes. Skiers and snowboarders
aren’t the only ones enjoying the mountain. We’ve
saved a bit of snow at the top of the mountain for snowshoeing
and a bit at the bottom for snow tubing. These new additions
to Hunter have virtually no learning curve and are fun for
all members of the family.
When summer (and camp) are over, there’s no need to stay
cooped up inside. There’s a winter playground of fun
and excitement just waiting for you, and no better place to
enjoy it than Hunter Mountain. Youth athletic programs, like
both Headwaters Camp and winter sports at Hunter Mountain,
offer youth important experiences, teaching lessons that last
a lifetime.

we invest in the development of the minds and bodies of our

development by supporting many local programs including the
