From either the eastbound or westbound lanes of Interstate
88, take Exit 15 to Oneonta (follow signs for the College). At the 1st light (Main Street), proceed straight thru the light (north) onto Maple Street. Turn right
at the 1st light (Center Street). Continue
for one block. Turn left onto East Street. Continue on East Street until
you reach Bugbee Road. Turn left onto Bugbee Road. Take the first left
(not the parking lot) when entering SUNY Oneonta campus. Lee Hall is
the 2nd building on the left. The parking lot is on the left (side entrance
to the building).
An alternative route would be to turn left (instead of right) onto Center
Street. Continue straight until reaching a T-intersection at Hartwick
College. Turn right. The college entrance on Ravine Parkway is ahead
on the right. Continue on Ravine Parkway. Continue on this main section
of road until you reach the road to Lee Hall. Turn right onto this road
(there is a sign for Lee Hall at the corner) and follow it until you
reach Lee Hall. Please refer to the SUNY Oneonta
map.
Parking on the SUNY Oneonta Campus
is clearly marked by signs in designated parking areas. Visitor
parking areas are marked with V. The closest Visitor Parking to Lee
Hall is located either behind the Library (Milne), or in the Visitor
lot over by Alumni.
Visitor parking permits are available from University Police/Alumni
Hall or the Reference Desk/1st Floor, Milne Library. Once you get a
Visitor Permit, you will need to go back to the vehicle and hang the
id tag in the rear view mirror.
There is some parking available in the Lee Hall lot. Please bring your vehicle description & license plate # when you sign-in. We will be recording & faxing this information over to University Police upon your arrival.
Go west on I-90 to I-88 at exit 25A. Follow I-88 west to Oneonta. Leave
I-88 at exit 15 and turn right at the end of ramp. Cross Main Street
at the first light. At the next traffic light, follow signs for SUNY
Oneonta. Approximate travel time: 1 hour, 15 minutes.
Follow Route 17 east to Binghamton. In Binghamton, take I-88 east to
Oneonta. Leave I-88 at exit 15 and turn left at the end of the ramp.
Cross Main Street at the first light. At the next traffic light, follow
signs for SUNY Oneonta. Approximate travel time from Binghamton: 1 hour.
Follow New York State Thruway (I-90) east to Herkimer/Mohawk exit 30.
Take Route 28 south to I-88. Go west on I-88 to exit 15. Turn right
at the end of the ramp. Cross Main Street at the first light. At the
next traffic light, follow signs to SUNY Oneonta. Approximate travel
time from Herkimer: 1 hour.
Follow the NYS Thruway (I-87) north to exit 21, Catskill/Cairo. Take
Route 23 west into Oneonta. (Alternative: take Route 23 west to Route
145 north in Cairo, to I-88 at Middleburgh. Take I-88 west to exit 15.
Turn right at the end of the ramp.) This is the Foster/Lettis Highway.
At the McDonald’s/Wendy’s/Hess intersection, turn onto the
Foster/Lettis Highway. From the Foster/Lettis Highway, follow the signs
to the College. You will go straight through the traffic light at the
intersection with Main Street. At the next traffic light, follow signs
for SUNY Oneonta. Approximate travel time from NYC: 4 hours to 4 hours,
30 minutes.
Follow the NYS Thruway (I-87) north to exit 21, Catskill/Cairo. Take
Route 23 west into Oneonta. (Alternative: take Route 23 west to Route
145 north in Cairo, to I-88 at Middleburgh. Take I-88 west to exit 15.
